About Us

BioOrbit is an independent biography website that publishes researched profiles of public figures from Nigeria and around the world, including entertainers, athletes, politicians, business leaders and other people with a documented public role.

Who runs BioOrbit

BioOrbit is owned and edited by Zeez, a writer and editor with more than 5 years of experience covering news, entertainment, sports, politics and celebrity biographies in Nigeria and beyond.

Zeez chooses whom the site covers, checks each biography against the sources listed at the bottom of the page, and approves corrections. You can read more on the author page.

What we publish

• Biographies of entertainers, athletes and other public figures
• Profiles of entrepreneurs and business leaders
• Profiles of politicians and public officials
• Sports biographies, including career records and milestones

We aim to explain a person’s career and public significance, not only list facts. Where the sources allow, a biography includes a dated timeline, major works or results, awards with wins and nominations kept separate, and context on why key moments mattered.

How we work

We start with first-party sources such as official websites, verified accounts, institutions and public records, then use established news and industry publications.

Important facts such as dates of birth, marriages and deaths need more than one reliable source. Every biography ends with a list of the sources we consulted and a “Last updated” date. If we cannot confirm a fact, we leave it out.

Read the full details in our Editorial Policy.

Corrections

We correct verified errors quickly and openly. If you see something wrong, use our Corrections page with a link to the article and a source for the correct information.

Independence and advertising

We do not accept payment to publish, change or remove a biography. BioOrbit may show advertising from third-party networks, which does not influence what we cover or how we write about people. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and analytics work on this site.
